BZFlag
...is a cool networked 3D-multiplayer-tank-battle-game. It works with every 32-bit MS Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP), all BSD platforms (FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD/Apple Mac OS X), every POSIX (Linux/BSD/UNIX-like OSes), Linux, OS X, Solaris and SGI IRIX.
It won the 'Best Free Multiplayer Action Game'-award in the HappyPenguin competition. The community is great and playing is the real fun. :o)

BZFlag stands for 'BattleZone capture the Flag'.

There exist two searchplugins for browsers like Netscape, Firefox, MozillaSuite/SeaMonkey and related to search for BZFlag players on the sites my.bzflag.org and fortix.bzflag.org. Have a look at them in the section 'Xtra stuff - Firefox' if you want.

For 'BZ flaglist', 'BZ history', 'BZ developer', 'BZ changelog', 'BZ server', 'BZ client' and 'BZ key mapping' are special XML files used which can be viewed and used at 'Xtra stuff - XML files'.
